Superior Care Iowa- Job Descriptions
HOUSEKEEPER:
Superior Care housekeepers perform light housekeeping tasks in the homes of senior clients. Qualified candidates will have experience with housekeeping tasks, experience interacting with seniors, and must have their own reliable transportation.
CAREGIVER:
Superior Care caregivers provide our clients compassionate in-home assistance to help them maintain independence. Duties typically include companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing assistance, and light housekeeping.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:
At Superior Care, our dedicated occupational therapists specialize in delivering skilled movement therapy to help our clients live their best lives. We are committed to assisting seniors in maintaining their independence with personalized and expert support. Our team works with clients on exercise and rehabilitation techniques associated with daily tasks such as dressing, eating, and bathing. They may also provide companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, some bathing or personal care assistance, and light housekeeping.
SKILLED NURSE / NURSING:
Superior Care nurses are certified RNs and XXX assigned to work with clients who may require a higher degree of assistance in their everyday lives. Nurses may assist in developing treatment plans and administering medications. They may provide treatment for chronic conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer’s disease. Superior Care Iowa nurses also provide companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, some bathing or personal care assistance, and light housekeeping.
Physical Therapist:
Superior Care physical therapists work with our aging adult clients to design treatment plans for a variety of conditions like arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer, joint replacement, and balance disorders. Our PTs assist with goals surrounding mobility, fitness levels, and the reduction of pain.
